Statement about Outdoor States~
The Board of FITA Archers of PA has been monitoring the pandemic and considering options for holding the 2020 PA Outdoor State Tournament. Given the current trajectory of the virus, as well as the additional requirements for competitions instituted by World Archery/US Archery to ensure the safety of archers and their families, we feel that the best course of action is to cancel this year’s Outdoor State competition.

Our foremost priority is public health. In addition, we know we have archers who are health compromised, and many others who have not been able to shoot outdoors because of the quarantine. While we know this decision will not make everyone happy, we believe this is the right thing to do to keep our community safe. We encourage you to keep practicing safely, and look forward to seeing all of you during the 2021 PA Indoor State tournament.
